5 & 6 Primary


Hello again for a new week. This week I want you to practise speaking by reading the text and saying the sentences out loud. I have included this sheet of riddles for things you might find in the home so that you can also practise adjective vocabulary.  

Word bank: glass, lamp, knife, mirror, TV television, spoon, telephone, cup, computer,  sofa, toilet, fork, clock, fridge, armchair, shower, bed, chair, door, kitchen, table.  

I will post the answers at the end of the week so you can see how many you got correct.

Keeping with the Australian theme this week again!! Do you remember in class talking about the different hemispheres and the different season? Spain is located in the Northern Hemisphere which means that on June 1st it will be Summer. Australia is located in the Southern Hemisphere which means that on June 1st is will be winter. Australian Animals I want you to watch the video about animals and write down one sentence about and animal in the comments below. What is your favourite Australian animal?  

Easter Celebrations

It's Easter time, so to celebrate I have some activities for you all to have a go at completing. For 1 primary on a separate workbook or piece of paper, practise writing out the easter words. Then you can draw the pictures to match these words. If you have access to a printer you can print the worksheet and complete it also. For 2 primary f irst, read out loud the sentences about the bunny. Then, on a separate workbook or piece of paper, copy the sentences in the boxes and complete the sentence by filling in the missing words. You can then draw a picture of the words from the story ( bunny, flower, tree, grass, eggs).  Or if you are learning from a computer listen to the instructions to make your very own easter egg. https://www.abcya.com/games/make_an_easter_egg For 3 and 4 primary , I have an Easter word search for you.
